I believe that fostering a positive therapeutic relationship is a stepping stone to the foundation needed for reflection, growth and acceptance. Providing a safe, non-judgmental space allows those to begin their journey to be able to live their lives the best they can. People seek therapy for a reason and I am there to help. Whether you are one who experiences anxiety or depression, have recently gone through an adjustment in your life or want to learn self-love and understanding, I am here to help. I bring a positive and empathetic ear to my clients' lives. I am grateful for what people have shared with me. I specialize in helping teenagers and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, adjustment/life transitions (ie: graduations, school refusal, losses of relationships, jobs, divorce), daily stress, stages of parenthood (ie: mom guilt, rediscovery of self) and self-care. My client centered approach includes kindness, laughter, solution focused and cognitive behavioral techniques in my psychodynamic sessions. I hope that those I work with leave therapy feeling hopeful, heard, motivated and ready for the challenges that come with daily life; the silver lining of it all.
